This policy explains how we at Starlings collect, manage and protect your personal information.

If you are a client who has an agreement with us, if you freelance for us or use our services, you may provide information considered personal data. We collect the data, allowing us to develop the agreed service for you. This includes:
● Name, contact information, address, mobile number and e-mail address.
● Delivery and billing information, payment information and other information are provided when you purchase or receive a product or service.

Your personal information may be gathered from the following sources:
● When you contact us by e-mail.
● Through an agreement or other business associations, if you are the contact person for one of our clients or business partners.

We need to know about you to administer and deliver services and goods that you have ordered and for payments, allowing the production of content and communication possible, carrying out sales and marketing activities, and communicate with you via e-mail.

We will not collect more information than necessary in our services.

We have accounting requirements that state we need to keep some of your information because of required accounting rules; after, the data will be deleted.
Information used for marketing purposes will be saved until you choose to unsubscribe from it. You can withdraw your consent at any time and notify us if you wish to not participate in sales and marketing activities.

Your personal data may be managed by staff in Sweden.

We have methods and personal data assistant agreements in place to ensure that your personal data is managed securely. Insurance is required by current legislation as well.

Starlings can use personal data to carry out its business and deliver the services you request. Your personal information may also be distributed for Starlings to fulfil certain legal obligations permitted and required by law. You can get more information about this by contacting us by e-mail.

Your information is stored in data centres within the European Union. For technical reasons, our subcontractors may need to relocate information to other countries outside the EU. If this were the case, appropriate protection measures and standardised data protection regulations would be implemented, approved by the European Commission.

We use Google Analytics on our website to measure statistics about users, page views and user activity. According to the Electronic Communications Act, all website visitors must be informed of cookies and the prevention of cookies being stored on the computer. 

Your right to information: You can receive a copy of the personal data we have about you.

Right to correction: We want to ensure that your information is up to date and correct. If you wish, you can have your information corrected or deleted if it is incorrect.

Right to delete: You can request that we delete your personal information. We may not delete data required by law.

Data portability: You can request us to move your personal data from our IT environment to somewhere else, either another company or to you. This does not apply to information required by law.

Consent Withdrawal: You can withdraw your consent to share information or to receive marketing and e-mails at any time.

Complaints: You can submit a complaint to the Data Inspectorate if you believe that we process your personal data in violation of the Data Protection Ordinance.
