The job

A different kind of job

We were asked by the advertising agency ANR+1 if we could recommend a set designer, i.e. a person who is good at designing the filming location according to the director’s wishes. Our network is large but despite this we couldn’t find one at short notice – production was only a few days later. And the job? Well, doors would be built so they could stand freely, open, close, step on, slam shut, dance through and so on. How hard can it be, our producer said and did the job himself together with the director. Different kind of job, but alot of fun!

THE HOW’S AND THE WHAT’S

A LEARNING EXPERIENCE!

Never before have we underestimated a project like we did this. There were a number of challenges with the assignment that we did not anticipate, not least how arduous it is to shovel stone on a steep slope. Tons of stone. And how do you actually make a door stand firmly, while all the reinforcements must be invisible? The result was great and as the director said – “Its a learning experience!”

DELIVERY

FUN FACT!

Despite how small this production actually was, we had 22 people on set! Making film is resource demanding!
